Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Program Manager

Kforce is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Program Manager to lead and complete large-scale, client-driven projects. As a key member of our Cloud Infrastructure and Platform team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and delivery of critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and drive PMO program management standards, including project governance policies and procedures, to ensure consistent practices across technical and strategic programs.
  • Program plans with well-managed dependencies and internal partner alignment in shared tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and lead all aspects of resource distribution for staffing, budgeting, and scheduling to boost efficiency.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring active management of risks throughout and issue resolution.
  • Establish effective communication channels with partners, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, finding opportunities to improve the processes and tools used in project management; Adhere to metrics and governance for process and drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators to measure and report on program and portfolio performance, making data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and program leaders to align project priorities and develop positive relationships with multi-functional teams to achieve business goals.
  • Prepare program status reports and executive briefings for various partner groups.
Requirements:
  • PMP Certification is required.
  • 9+ years of experience as a Technical Project or Program Manager or similar related job profile (Release Train Engineer).
  • 5+ years of experience working with project planning tools (Jira, Confluence or SharePoint).
  • 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure or related projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agile certifications preferred (CSM, RTE, etc.).
  • 3+ years facilitating meetings and speaking in front of groups.
  • Experience with cloud and on-prem network infrastructure.
  • Experience within or partnering with Support organizations.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills; You digest sophisticated information, can distill it, and make recommendations and proposals.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
  • Appetite for rapid changes and comfort with navigating through uncertain/ambiguous situations.
  • Self-starting, self-motivated, self-directed, and self-sufficient.
  • Openness to new insights and willingness to innovate.
  • Comfort managing budgets.
