Job Title: Field Technician Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Technician Foreman to join our team. As a Field Technician Foreman, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 related services, including robotic inspections of above ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure that safety procedures are being followed and equipment is in proper working order.
  • Perform all inspections in accordance with API 653 and other related standards.
  • Document all inspection activities in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
  • Recommending repairs and perform inspection of completed repair work, as appropriate.
  • Manage accurate and professional communications with both customers and the office.
  • Manage and direct the field crew to efficiently complete each project.
  • Make quick decisions on the job to ensure successful completions of projects.
  • Complete all required training within company guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 5 years field inspection experience.
  • API-653 Certified.
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, management, vendors and customers.
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including travel overnight and by air.
  • Excellent communications skills both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to pass background and drug testing, including ongoing random testing.
  • Valid driver's license, have or ability to obtain passport, TWIC card (homeland security).
  • Comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
  • Knowledge or certified to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.

Working Conditions:

  • May include occasional exposure to shop environment involving lifting of material and/or products up to 50 pounds.
  • Work frequently involves working from a kneeling/all-fours position.
  • Work involves working in Confined Spaces.
  • Work is conducted in an outdoor setting and in all weather.
  • Must have adequate vision/corrective eyewear and be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to climb stairs and ladders frequently and repetitively.
  • Must be available by phone during nonstandard working hours.
  • Must be able to pass a Pulmonary Fit Test, if required.
  • Includes heavy travel schedule, estimated at 75%.
