We are seeking an experienced Aerial Foreman to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As a key member of our construction and engineering services team, you will be responsible for leading a crew of technicians in the installation and maintenance of wireless communication systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise crew members in the performance of duties related to the installation and maintenance of wireless communication systems.
- Assemble and install antenna and line materials, using tools and rigging hardware as necessary.
- Climb poles and towers to perform installations and maintenance tasks.
- Fitting of connectors, attachment of coax to support systems, sealing and joints.
- Maintain safe working habits and conditions, adhering to all regulations and policies.
- At least 18 years old.
- Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
- Prior experience in the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry.
- Understanding of installation and testing of latest technologies (LTE, CDMA, UMTS) - Anritzu/PIMM certification a plus.
- Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner.
- Able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe working habits/conditions.
- Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and others.
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance.
- Able to work as needed (overtime, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions.
