We are seeking a highly skilled Tower Foreman to join our team at Pearce Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising the installation, maintenance, and de-installation of wireless cell site foundations, including grounding conduits, electrical installations, and site de-installation of antennas, coax, and BTS cabinets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of experienced tower technicians and train new technicians to ensure a safe and productive job site.
- Utilize construction and project management skills to deliver high-quality projects on time, within budget, and with strict adherence to our safety guidelines.
- Perform performance checks, regular maintenance, and repairs on various cell tower types.
- Complete assigned tasks within project scope accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain proper installation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Analyze and interpret site data and calculate figures.
- Isolate basic hardware, software, and air interface malfunctions using various test equipment.
- Work with a crew and respond to service calls promptly.
- Previous Tower Tech III or Tower Foreman experience is highly preferred.
- Proven construction (civil and RF) skills, understanding scope, schedule, cost, quality, resource, and deliverable management.
- Climbing Safety & Rescue Certification (assistance may be provided for renewals).
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings (CD's) and plumbing diagrams (RFDS).
- Knowledge of relevant electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Working knowledge of cell site service monitors, RF test equipment, Fiber, and PIM equipment.
- High level of organization and scheduling abilities.
- Effective interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
At Pearce Services, safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.
- Climbing structures and operating lifts for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to work at heights 90' to 500+; maintain efficient weatherproofing, grounding, and rigging techniques.
- Lifting heavy objects and stretching above your head.
- Ability to travel in the market area for multiple days with Per Diem, depending on the project.
