Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to serve as a Teaching Assistant in our School of Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy. The successful candidate will provide academic support to students and faculty, assist with course preparation, and contribute to the overall success of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course Preparation: Assist faculty members with course preparation, including literature reviews, assignment scoring, and providing written and verbal feedback to students.
  • Student Support: Provide individual support to students, including meeting with them to discuss their academic progress and growth in the course content area.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain a communication structure that allows faculty and students to interact outside of the classroom, including using online platforms.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student progress and course activities as requested by faculty members.
  • Lab Meetings: Facilitate lab and review meetings as requested by faculty members.
Requirements
  • Education: Successful completion of the course in a previous quarter.
  • Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position, and the successful candidate will be required to work varying hours. The position is fully remote within the United States, subject to payroll state approval by Fuller Theological Seminary.

Compensation

The wage range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour USD.
