Job Summary

W.W. Williams Company is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to join our team. As a Generator Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining standby power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, and modify standby power generators ranging from 8.5kw- 3500kw.
  • Perform failure analysis, service, and/or repairs on power generation equipment and air compressors.
  • Check and repair supporting systems such as fuel, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Operate load banks and record instrumentation.
  • Clean, check, recondition, and determine the reusability of used parts.
  • Stay up-to-date with product changes, specifications, and updates.
  • Compile repair, maintenance, and estimates for the above-listed duties.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment.
  • EGSA Certification (Preferred)
  • Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
