Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Medication Certified Technician will actively incorporate our "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care" by developing awareness of residents' interests and needs, and assisting residents to maximize their independence and participation. The successful candidate will provide exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living, to recreational activities. The Medication Certified Technician will create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide medication administration and management
- Assist with recreational activities and social events
- Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure resident-centered care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Successful completion of the Certified Caregiver Program
- Certification as a Medication Certified Technician
- Minimum of one year experience in a healthcare setting
