Job Title: Medication Certified Technician

Terraces of Phoenix, a HumanGood community, is seeking a full-time Medication Certified Technician to join our team in our Memory Support unit.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Medication Certified Technician will actively incorporate our "Philosophy for Person-Directed Care" by developing awareness of residents' interests and needs, and assisting residents to maximize their independence and participation. The successful candidate will provide exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living to recreational activities, creating a safe environment in which to provide resident care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, and recreational activities.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist residents with their needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Successful completion of the Certified Caregiver Program.
  • Certification as a Medication Certified Technician required for entry into this position.
  • Minimum of one year experience preferred.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified Caregiver Certificate, CPR AZ, Fingerprint Clearance Card.
