Job Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role in the hotel's operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and guest information. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests during the overnight shift, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and secure experience.

Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and requests.
  • Financial Transactions: Verify and balance financial transactions, including room charges, food and beverage sales, and other hotel revenue streams.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct security walks, ensure the hotel's physical security, and respond to any security incidents.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and distribute reports, including the Daily Flash Report, and maintain accurate records and files.
  • Training and Development: Train new Night Auditors and provide guidance and support to ensure a smooth transition.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field is helpful.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, and proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved software.
