Night Auditor Position

The Night Auditor will be responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing exceptional guest service at the hotel's front desk. This includes balancing duties, daily paperwork, and shift reports. While completing these tasks, the Night Auditor will attend to guest needs such as guest check-in/check-outs, making reservations, and answering guest questions.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactive thinking, maintaining guest security, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly work environment.
- Counting cash and maintaining the accuracy of the issued cash drawer at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift.
- Checking the front desk log for problems, special requests, etc.
- Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
- Processing guest registrations, including collecting payment.
- Preparing express checkout folios.
- Maintaining room status inventory.
- Communicating all pertinent shift information to the Front Office Manager, General Manager, and other desk staff.
- Maintaining and cleaning the lobby and bathroom as needed.
- Communicating all information to the following shift to ensure a smooth transition.
- Working closely with all hotel departments to ensure the highest quality of customer service.
- Answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
- Responsible for completing all required shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
