Nugget is a leading direct-to-consumer play company that designs, develops, manufactures, and sells innovative products. We're a fun-loving team of ~100 Nuggeteers in Butner, North Carolina, and Atlanta, GA, and we're growing rapidly.

About the Role:

We're seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you'll play a critical role in supporting our C-Suite and providing strategic guidance to drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage financial accounting and reporting processes, including inventory, fixed assets, accounts payable, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP and review reconciliations of investment and operating cash accounts.
  • Partner with the VP of Operations to select and implement ERP software.
  • Lead annual budgeting process and prepare monthly budget to actual variance analysis.
  • Develop capital budgets and investment return analysis, and track project expenditures and variance from budget.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and drive growth.
  • Manage KPI data collection and reporting, and ensure compliance with regulations and optimal performance of investments and 401(K) plans.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Finance/Accounting Leadership experience, including 7+ years in leadership/management roles with a company that designs, manufactures, and sells products direct-to-consumer.
  • Strong understanding of standard financial/accounting procedures, GAAP concepts and principles, and internal controls.
  • Experience with implementation and maintaining ERP software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to non-financially oriented leaders and make sense of complex information to solve problems.
  • Organizational savvy and ability to build relationships and partner with other individuals, teams, and departments to accomplish goals.
