Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Information Management Senior Associate to join our team at Penn State Health. As a key member of our Health Information Services department, you will be responsible for managing all electronic medical record tasks, including Release of Information, Disability Forms, and reconciliation of dictation/transcription. This is a full-time position with a shift of 3:00p - 11:30p, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all electronic medical record tasks, including Release of Information, Disability Forms, and reconciliation of dictation/transcription.
  • Work under the direction of the HIS Supervisor and Manager to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient demographics, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum two (2) years related experience in a healthcare setting required.
  • Medical records experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Windows and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
