Job OverviewTrout CPA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join its Assurance department. This role involves leading client engagements, supervising staff, and researching financial statement and assurance-related issues. Key responsibilities include planning and executing financial statements, supervising and training employees, and acquiring knowledge of clients' businesses and industries. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, 3-5 years of attestation experience, and excellent project management, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagements, including planning, executing, and completing financial statements
  • Supervise, train, and mentor employees and interns on assurance processes
  • Research and analyze financial statement and assurance-related issues
  • Acquire working knowledge of clients' businesses and industries
  • Proactively interact with key clients' management to gather information, resolve problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of strong attestation experience
  • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines
  • Able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
  • Dedicated to superior client service
