Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Canada PSAV. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment, ensuring seamless execution of events and complete customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Customer Service: Exceed customer expectations, maintain positive relationships, and provide effective communication.
  • Technical Ability: Troubleshoot and problem-solve equipment and software issues, demonstrating basic operational ability.
  • Systems Knowledge: Understand company processes, follow procedures, and complete systems entry and paperwork accurately.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience, 1 year of audio visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment.
  • Certifications: Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification within 180 days.
Work Environment

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. Team members will use high-end audio visual equipment and electrical components, and will be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders.

Team members may be asked to work in multiple hotel locations. Working times will include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
