Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner

We are in search of a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to enhance our Endocrinology department. The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing patients with endocrine disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormonal imbalances. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough evaluations of patients with endocrine disorders, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment strategies for patients, including medication prescriptions, patient education, and lifestyle recommendations.
  • Track patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Work in partnership with endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and effective care.
  • Educate patients on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive health practices.
  • Maintain precise and current patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in clinical research, quality improvement projects, and continuing education activities to remain updated on advancements in endocrinology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in MA.
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a recognized certifying organization (e.g., ANCC, AANP).
  • Strong clinical expertise in managing endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid diseases, and metabolic bone disorders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with insulin pump management and continuous glucose monitoring technologies.
  • Background in patient education and chronic disease management.

Salary Range: 95K - 120K
