Library Manager

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Information Services Manager to oversee the Adult and Youth Services Departments in our vibrant and diverse community. As a key member of our team, you will supervise staff, set goals, and cultivate a positive work environment. This position is perfect for a collaborative leader who is highly motivated to implement best practices in libraries.
About This Role:
As the Information Services Manager, you will be responsible for supervising staff, including scheduling, creating goals, and writing evaluations. You will also oversee library programming for Youth and Adult Services, provide excellent customer service at an integrated service desk, and manage the facility, including opening and closing duties. Additionally, you will serve as a branch liaison, participating in policy and procedure improvements and revisions, and special committee assignments.
Requirements:
We require a Master's degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited college/university and 2 years of library systems experience, including one year of supervision. Supervisory experience, including scheduling, training, and personnel management, is preferred. Experience developing and implementing library programming for all ages, providing excellent customer service, and managing a facility are also highly valued.
