Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Manager to join our team at NHE, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall performance of our affordable housing properties, including financial management, marketing, and resident services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including HUD, LIHTC, and Fair Housing.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in community management, preferably in the affordable housing industry.
  • SC Property Manager's License or PMIC License required.
  • Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations on a federal, state, and local level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
