Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inventory management.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and manage a team of fleet staff, including mechanics, drivers, and administrative personnel.
  • Maintenance Programs: Develop and implement effective maintenance programs to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our vehicles.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the fleet budget, including expenses, revenue, and cost control measures.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible deals for our fleet.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-4 years of experience in fleet management, mechanics, or a related field.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: ASE or EVT certification preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

The Fleet Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with occasional extended hours and exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, and fumes. A valid driver's license is required, and the ability to travel to other locations is necessary.
