Job Summary

We are seeking a Mental Health Tech to join our team at McLean Hospital's new 68-bed facility in Middleborough, Massachusetts. As a Mental Health Tech, you will provide direct patient care and participate in therapeutic milieu under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain professional boundaries
  • Identify patient behaviors that contribute to crisis situations and utilize de-escalation techniques
  • Participate in planning and implementation of patient groups
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with others
  • No experience required; one year patient care or related experience preferred
