About the Role

TTM Technologies, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of technology solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Chemical Engineering Intern to join our team. As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will work collaboratively with our team to implement process improvements and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively in a team to implement manufacturing process improvements
  • Collaborate with program mentors and champions to identify best methods for automating processes
  • Utilize a structured engineering approach to deploy best practices for process control and to improve yields
  • Initiate and/or update documentation of processes into work instructions
  • Compare existing manufacturing practices with external benchmarks and industry best practices and propose appropriate improvements
  • Lead capital project efforts to resolve production capacity and technology capability issues
  • Present multiple project updates to the local leadership team
Requirements
  • Requires ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Project management and structured problem-solving with the ability to make data-based and ethical decisions
  • Eagerness to learn quickly
  • Capability for designing and analyzing experiments utilizing statistical tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
Education and Experience
  • Current college Junior or Senior earning Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in applying engineering concepts to solve problems
