We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to ensure every student receives the personalized attention and resources necessary to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and other specialists to support student learning and development.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's level degree in ASL or Education Interpreting.
- Ability to communicate and interpret ASL.
- Certified in EIPA, RID, and NIC.
- Valid California Teaching License or eligibility for certification.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
