Key Responsibilities

The Senior Revenue Management Analyst is tasked with a blend of market revenue enhancement, process optimization, and team leadership. Key responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and establishing pricing strategies based on market conditions, load factors, and demand to maximize revenue through decision-support tools.
  • Identifying best practices and opportunities for process enhancements, and designing effective solutions.
  • Providing oversight and performance management for the team.
  • Demonstrating superior performance in Revenue KPIs and strategic market management.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior analysts.
  • Staying informed about competitive dynamics and making necessary recommendations.

Essential Functions
  • Summarizes data and analyzes outcomes; formulates and presents conclusions; designs and implements relevant action plans.
  • Extracts data and develops solutions based on identified opportunities.
  • Maximizes revenue through effective seat allocation.
  • Leads analysts in establishing market and flight-level forecasting and management strategies.
  • Teaches and mentors Revenue Management Analysts I & II.
  • Optimizes and validates demand forecasts for selected markets.
  • Analyzes market influences and identifies demand patterns.
  • Monitors individual progress toward market goals and strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Aviation Management, or a related field; relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Operations Research preferred.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in relevant revenue management roles.
  • Experience with revenue management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to independently identify issues and analyze multiple data sources.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with SQL, Python, or VBA is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of revenue management principles and practices.
  • Ability to work under general direction and manage workload effectively.
  • Capability to summarize variances and present recommendations to management.
  • Proficient in quantitative methods.
