Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Client Services Coordinator to join our team at our Laurel location. This role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating outpatient testing procedures, providing outstanding customer service, and assisting case managers and adjusters in a timely and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule procedures pertaining to Work Comp for Iowa Ortho Physicians, including MRI/CT and outpatient testing, as well as scheduling additional requested appointments.
  • Coordinate with case managers or adjusters to ensure that all history and tests have been completed and are in their possession.
  • Call representatives for testing as needed for each case, documenting date, time, and contact information.
  • Handle all incoming phone calls from case managers and adjusters in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Track all scheduled tests and ensure accuracy on any notes in patient accounts.
  • Assist with One Call scheduling and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to extend wrists/arms for up to eight hours a day.
  • Sit for up to eight hours per day.
  • Fingering/keyboarding skills to work at a computer terminal for up to eight hours a day.
  • Ability to write, read, speak, and hear the English language in order to communicate with providers, case managers, and adjusters.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
Education and Experience
  • Two-year college degree.
  • Two years of previous experience in a fast-paced medical environment required.
