Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor is a key member of our team at Lightspeed Construction Group, responsible for overseeing the coordination of construction efforts and ensuring the safety and quality of our crew.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate construction activities with in-house and contract laborers
  • Supervise construction projects and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and project sites to verify safety and quality standards
  • Confer with project managers and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities
  • Coach workers in construction methods, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support
  • Review and process damage claims
  • Follow and enforce company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
  • OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to work independently and supervise others
  • Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of construction work experience
  • Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications
  • Underground, aerial, MDU, coax splicing, or fiber splicing experience

Working Conditions:

Field environment, flexibility of schedule according to needs of operation; on-call rotation
