Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

At FedEx Office, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for leading a store business unit, focusing on creating a consistent and positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of store employees to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Supervise and oversee all store operations, including production, retail, and shipping processes.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies and controlling inventory levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and goals.
  • Perform other administrative duties as needed, including payroll management, scheduling, and training compliance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 1+ year of related experience, prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods.
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Knowledge of FedEx Office products and services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure.

Quality Driven Management:

  • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
  • Work with management to reduce company costs/wastes, and to optimize profitability in areas of responsibility.
  • Apply Quality concepts presented at training during daily activities.
  • Support FedEx Office Quality initiatives.
