Territory Manager Role

The Territory Manager serves as a key liaison between General Trading and its assigned stores, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless operations. This role requires regular visits to stores in the assigned zone, with a focus on maintaining consistent account performance across all three departments (Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen) sourced exclusively from General Trading.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support to store owners during new store openings and major department remodels
  • Act as a dedicated liaison between General Trading and its customers, addressing their needs and concerns
  • Introduce, instruct, and follow up on all company programs and apps to ensure optimal adoption
  • Promote 100% buying of Grocery, Dairy, and Frozen products through General Trading
  • Review and analyze sales reports with stores to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitor activity, sharing valuable insights with customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff
  • Perform physical tasks related to space allocation and store layout
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of retail sales experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency
