Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor the asphalt plant facility, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to identify and implement improvements to plant operations.
  • Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Document daily pre and post-inspections, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
  • Operate equipment and tools with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Requirements:
  • Dedication to safe work practices at all times.
  • Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Experience with welding and cutting is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed.
  • Working knowledge of asphalt plant utilities and equipment, including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to work outside in a variety of conditions.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
