Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at UMC Health System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and verify patient information for accurate registration
  • Schedule exams and coordinate multiple modalities schedules
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Collect payments and establish payment arrangements
  • Perform other assigned duties related to Environmental Services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of experience as a patient access representative, customer service rep, or similar administrative role
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task
  • Basic medical terminology is a plus
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent sitting and walking, with occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The work environment may be stressful at times, with emotional demands. The ability to read documents and computer records is essential.
