General Labor Position

The Laborer is responsible for executing general labor tasks and maintaining cleanliness in both plant and field environments as instructed. This role includes unloading railcars as needed, all while promoting and adhering to safe work practices and environmental regulations for oneself and fellow employees.
Work Schedule and CompensationThis is a full-time role, structured around four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday). The hourly wage is set at $25.24.

Furthermore, we offer paid jury duty and bereavement leave. Employees are eligible to enroll in our 401k plan upon employment, with a 12% employer contribution available immediately.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and promote safe work practices and environmental compliance while performing the following tasks:
- Conduct clean-up operations throughout the facility, utilizing tools such as brooms, shovels, and wheelbarrows.
- Operate various equipment, including super suckers, street sweepers, track mobiles, front-end loaders, forklifts, bobcats, water trucks, dump trucks, and other related machinery.
- Unload railcars as instructed.
- Execute painting tasks as required.
- Provide janitorial services as directed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Qualifications- Ability to comply with Federal, ATF, state, and county regulations for handling Cardox in the future.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
- Understanding of hazards associated with assigned responsibilities.
- Capability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
- Ability to navigate various surfaces, including uneven and slippery terrain.
- Physical capability to climb on equipment.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds), including stairs, using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
- Required to utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 400 feet in height.
- Must be able to walk long distances, climb stockpiles, stoop, and crawl into confined spaces.
- Ability to perceive safety indicators and warnings, with exposure to varying noise levels requiring hearing protection.
- Must be able to work in diverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty environments, as well as near hot kiln processes.
- Exposure to cement, clay, limestone, and various chemicals.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check.
