Position Overview:

An opportunity exists for a Project Engineer to contribute to a dynamic engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting utility customer drawing packages and specifications. The role involves designing and analyzing tubular steel utility structures, focusing on transmission, distribution, and substation structures, ensuring compliance with national codes and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing preliminary design estimates and verifying final designs for production.
  • Utilizing advanced 3D modeling software for pole design and proprietary calculation tools for component designs.
  • Assuming responsible charge of projects and customer territories, contingent upon licensure and competency.
  • Offering technical support and collaborating effectively with sales, detailing, project management, and production teams.
