Position Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Healogics, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care under the guidance of the Wound Care Center Clinical Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Your responsibilities will encompass managing patient intake and discharge processes, as well as potentially serving as a Case Manager for a specific group of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering patient care and overseeing intake and discharge procedures for patients at the Wound Care Center.
  • Assisting in vein clinic operations following completion of Healogics Vein Clinic training.
  • Acting as a Case Manager for designated patients.

Additional responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, collaborating with physicians, documenting care plans, providing patient education, and more. You may also be involved in hyperbaric oxygen therapy duties, working alongside healthcare professionals, and fulfilling the role of a Documentation Assistant, among other tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Experience in Medical Surgical, Home Health, or Wound Care settings is advantageous.
  • Previous wound care experience is a plus.

Essential Skills:

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service orientation, along with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Engagement in various physical activities such as bending, writing, and lifting.
  • Capacity to maintain focus during extended periods.

Work Environment:

  • Typical settings include both office and patient care environments.
