Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Envoy Mortgage. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing leads, originating mortgage loans, and responding to referrals from branch personnel and other sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote Envoy's products through local community activities and organizations to develop new business
  • Develop relationships with real estate professionals, homebuilders, and other referral sources to generate qualified mortgage leads
  • Stay informed of trends, changes, and developments in the local real estate market
  • Request and gather relevant information/documents from borrowers to complete the application and loan disclosures
  • Adhere to all Envoy standards, including production minimums and customer service
  • Educate borrowers on current offerings and programs for which they qualify
  • Monitor the loan process and communicate effectively with borrowers and other parties
  • Present complete and accurate files to the Processor
  • Coordinate the flow of information to all concerned parties
  • Stay current with required continuing education, new products, and industry guidelines
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Five (5) years related experience and/or training in mortgage origination, with 2+ years in a sales leadership role
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage loan products and processes
  • Working knowledge of originating systems, such as Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator (DU/DO), Loan Prospector (LP), and Encompass
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Success in growing sales and revenue goals
  • Exceptional follow-up, time management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
