Position Overview: Under guidance, the Safety Compliance Specialist (Fire Inspections) conducts evaluations to ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations, maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge of updates in state regulations, OSHA standards, NFPA guidelines, and other relevant safety codes.
- Interpret and manage regulatory and technical matters, documenting compliance with safety laws to protect public welfare.
- Monitor and log the operational status and placement of emergency response equipment and related resources.
- Organize and oversee inspections and audits of designated facilities to ensure procedural adherence and sustain necessary accreditation.
- Offer expertise and consultation on fire safety inspections and associated tasks.
- Employ various monitoring, sampling, and analytical tools to collect and record data accurately.
- Facilitate training and manage data in relevant areas as required.
Qualifications: An Associate's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution OR a High school diploma or GED coupled with two years of pertinent experience. Note: Certain roles may necessitate a valid driver's license and/or specific certifications and licenses.
