As a Community Support Specialist in our Deaf Program, you will be responsible for providing mental health support and case management services to clients. This will involve connecting them with resources, helping them navigate complex systems, and supporting them in their daily lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing mental health support and case management services to clients
  • Connecting clients with resources and services
  • Supporting clients in their daily lives, including driving them to appointments and helping with daily tasks
  • Developing and implementing care plans with clients
  • Collaborating with other staff members to ensure comprehensive support for clients

Requirements:

  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and the Deaf community
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good writing skills
  • A valid driver's license, current car insurance, and daily access to your own car
