Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Deaf Community Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will provide mental health support and case management services to clients who are deaf or hard of hearing. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop personalized care plans to help them achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health support and case management services to clients who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Work closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives
  • Provide transportation to clients as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL)
  • Passion for mental health advocacy and Deaf community
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good writing skills
  • Strong time management and organization
  • Valid driver's license and daily access to a car
