Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality pastries and desserts in accordance with our culinary standards.
  • Ensure all pastry stations are properly set and maintained prior to service.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain effective food handling, processing, and storage procedures in accordance with our HACCP program.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations and provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Report any food quality or safety concerns to the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and food safety protocols.
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.
