About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transitional Care Unit team at Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide whole-person quality care to patients in need, working alongside healthcare professionals to facilitate recovery from serious injury, illness, disease, or medical condition.

About the Department

Our Transitional Care Unit is an intermediate and high-acuity department that provides a comfortable and home-like setting for patients. We guide and care for patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs before they're able to return home, preparing them for the road ahead. Our team is dedicated to handling medical complexities, such as fractures, complex wound management, IV management, dialysis, oxygen therapy, and TPN, in a more comfortable and personalized setting.

Required Qualifications
  • Education sufficient for licensure
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Food Handler's Permit
  • 1 year Med-Surg experience (Acute vs Sub-Acute)
  • Supervisory experience with nursing assistants/CNAs
