Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning and execution of recreational programs and activities
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, including cleaning, repairs, and inventory management
  • Work closely with the Recreation Manager to develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of our members and guests
  • Assist with special events, holiday activities, and year-round programs for members and guests
  • Relay accurate information to members and guests, ensuring that they have a positive and enjoyable experience
  • Effectively and efficiently handle members and guests' complaints and concerns
  • Work with the Guest Service Department to ensure accurate transfer of information and seamless communication
  • Assist with inventories and reconciliation, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly accounted for
  • Work with necessary departments to ensure the proper marketing and promotion of the facility

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year hospitality and recreation experience preferred
  • Strong guest service background, with the ability to provide a high level of service, programming, and instruction for our guests and members
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Previous recreation or customer service experience
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
  • Capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certified
  • Knowledge of recreation programming and facility management

Compensation

The pay scale for the Activities Attendant is $24.04.
