POSITION SUMMARY

Client is looking for two Electro-mechanical Assemblers who will support new programs. The assembler will have advanced skills such as fine precision soldering, be familiar with electronics testing and measuring devices such as Vector Network Analyzer and multimeter, troubleshooting skills working complex assemblies and work independently.

Client said that candidates must be precision solderers who can solder through a microscope, read blueprints, can use testing tools such as network analyzers and signal generators, and have IPC certification. Relevant industry experience (antenna technologies and products for both military and civilian applications) is preferred but not required.

An onsite interview is required.  As part of the interview process, they will be brought in for a skills test for soldering, if they pass, they will be hired.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assemble and wire, using schematics to complete electro-mechanical assemblies, forming all necessary cabling, wires and routing per drawings.
• Soldering and crimping of mechanical assemblies
• Ability to use hand tools and power devices.
• Ability to test assemblies using tools such as network analyzers and signal generators.
• Keep work area clean and organized to present a professional workplace environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
• Two (2) years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
• Precision Soldering skills
• IPC Certification
• Mechanical assembly concepts in performing assembly to schematics.
• Knowledge of use, repair, and maintenance of machines and tools.
• Ability to read drawings and bill of materials.
• Manual dexterity.

Education:
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
 • English Language and Math proficiency a must
