Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network upgrades and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our network remains secure and efficient.

Requirements:

  • CCNA or CCNP certification highly preferred.
  • CISSP or Security certifications (CheckPoint, A10) a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with routers and switches, Cisco.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls, Checkpoint.
  • Hands-on experience with LTM/GTM/Load Balancers, A10.
  • Basic scripting knowledge via Bash/Python.
  • Basic competency with Linux/Unix servers.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP concepts and common router user interfaces and command structure.
  • Data/traffic flow between two endpoints.
  • Basic network topology for Enterprise and/or Service Provider networks.
  • Familiarity with supporting higher level traffic flows, such as HTTP and VOIP.
  • Good skills in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Ability to work in a 24x7x365 environment with shift work and quarterly shift rotation.
