Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute short and long-term strategic account plans for assigned key accounts
  • Identify customer needs and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver market-leading products and solutions
  • Monitor trends, competitive activity, and market penetration to inform business decisions
  • Manage contracts and pricing, including negotiations, at assigned accounts
  • Communicate and maintain accurate sales forecasts and deliver budget and growth targets
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with MBA required; technical degree preferred
  • Minimum 15 years progressive sales or business development experience in the food ingredient industry
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills with a proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans
  • Ability to lead and develop cross-functional opportunities between Balchem and customers
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays required
