Position Overview:

At American Career College, we are seeking a dedicated Campus Registrar to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management, verification, and auditing of student academic records and attendance documentation for a vibrant campus community. Your commitment to maintaining the integrity and retention of academic records is essential to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary custodian of student academic records for the designated campus.
  • Regularly update and maintain the computerized student information system to comply with accreditation and regulatory standards.
  • Process and accurately track student statuses within the information system, including drops, leaves of absence, and graduations.
  • Ensure that student and administrative files are organized and stored according to established guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and audits of student files to confirm that all necessary documentation is collected and properly secured.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in a college records office, focusing on transcript evaluation, degree audits, and the management of student records.
  • Familiarity with secondary and postsecondary educational programs.
  • Understanding of state, federal, and accreditation regulations relevant to educational compliance and standards.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate degree in Education Administration, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
