Job Summary

Regency Care of Arlington is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staff Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for managing the daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for our nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Management: Prepare and distribute nursing schedules, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Staff Communication: Maintain open communication with nursing staff, ensuring they are aware of their schedules and any changes.
  • Attendance and Tardiness: Monitor and maintain accurate records of attendance and tardiness, reporting any trends or issues to the Director of Nursing.
  • Timekeeping: Review and correct time sheets/punch detail records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Certification and Licensing: Maintain current certification and licenses for nursing staff, as required.
  • In-Service Education: Attend in-service education programs to meet facility educational requirements and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Confidentiality and Resident Care: Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility records, ensuring the highest level of care and respect for our residents.
Requirements
  • Education: Registered Nurse with a valid license in this state.
  • Skills: Organized and detailed work performance, excellent communication skills, and self-discipline.
  • Experience: Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Works in an office area as well as throughout the facility.
  • Physical Demands: Moves intermittently during work hours, subject to frequent interruptions.
