About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our digital product management team at AEO. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving our internal site search strategy and delivering a world-class search experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to champion the needs of customers and drive business value through the internal site search experience.
  • Collaborate with site merchandising, user experience, UI design, and engineering partners to build a robust internal site search delivery roadmap.
  • Engage business stakeholders throughout the execution of a project to ensure that what is delivered meets the business's goals and objectives.
  • Analyze market research, user feedback, data, and competitive landscape to identify new on-site search opportunities and enhancements.
  • Develop and prioritize features based on customer and business value and understand the art of sequencing their delivery within an agile framework.
  • Synthesize business requirements, identify areas of uncertainty, recommend solutions, and gather buy-in from relevant stakeholders.
  • Define metrics of success and analyze results.
Requirements
  • Previous experience building world-class search experiences.
  • Ability to present to diverse audiences commanding both subject matter and technical expertise.
  • Ability to not just develop and communicate a vision, but to inspire others to buy in and participate at a high level.
  • Imagination and courage to think outside the box, but the self-awareness and urgency to focus on value.
  • Interest in becoming an expert in the digital technology space by staying ahead of the industry and driving tangible results.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years related experience in digital/e-commerce.
  • 2+ years related experience in Product Management, particularly in the on-site search space.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, project management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various phases of ideation, execution, or delivery.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.
  • Experience with agile development.
  • Data-driven mindset and track record.
  • BONUS: Experience working with Constructor.io and other search solutions.
