Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS programs and strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance EHS performance.
  • Provide training and education to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and report on EHS incidents and near-misses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate EHS risks.
  • Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations and organizational policies.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to employees on EHS matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing EHS regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Natural Science, Engineering, Emergency Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in EHS, risk management, or a related field.
  • Healthcare Environmental Manager Certificate, Industrial Hygienist Certificate, Health Safety Professional Certificate, Safety Professional Certificate, or Associate Safety Professional Certification within 24 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Experience with EHS management software and systems.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
