Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute moderately complex tasks related to litigation support, including thorough examination and analysis of case documents across various topics, such as financial records and healthcare materials;
  • Accurate indexing of case files;
  • Develop procedures for completing litigation support tasks;
  • Engage in document acquisition activities;
  • Perform database inquiries;
  • Review and edit deliverables for quality assurance;
  • Occasionally lead a larger team of Document Management Technicians and administrative support personnel;
  • Gather and assess evidence in newly filed claims;
  • Accountable for evaluating claim-related evidence, managing databases, and meticulously documenting processes according to established guidelines;
  • May provide assistance with case management tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in significant litigation support projects or possession of an undergraduate degree;
  • Proven ability to operate independently within a collaborative team setting;
  • Hands-on experience with governmental office and network systems, including data processing environments, office automation networks, and various applications such as Oracle and Relativity;
  • Proficient in using governmental office tools, including word processing, database management, and telecommunications systems;
  • Strong skills in document review, particularly in relation to claims and patient records.
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in a governmental or litigation support setting is preferred;
  • Familiarity with claims processing;
  • Undergraduate degree is advantageous;
  • Possession of a current or active clearance is a plus.
