**Job Responsibilities**
• Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on various-sized projects
• Oversee budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards
• Develop engineering designs, prepare reports, and create plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water projects
• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables, and work through the construction phase on projects
• Supervise or coordinate the work of staff engineers, drafters, technicians, and others assisting in specific assignments
**Requirements**
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 6-12 years of water project experience, including water treatment facilities, transmission/distribution projects, water storage, and groundwater wells
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in Texas or ability to obtain within six months
• Demonstrated experience in design and construction phases of water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects with full responsibility for budget, schedule, contractual obligations, and quality standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project teams
• Work well in a team environment
• Ability to deliver high-quality services within budget and schedule constraints
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering
• Design and construction phase experience
