Job Summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our national One Water team, you will contribute to the development of integrated planning solutions for municipal water utilities, employing advanced hydraulic models to assess existing problem areas and predict future issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive technical reports and presentations for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water distribution, supply, and transmission systems
  • Perform modeling and planning of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure, including sewer collection infrastructure modeling and planning
  • Collaborate with technical experts, project teams, and client service managers to advance our technical services and support business development on a wide variety of water system projects
  • Participate in client development activities, including proposal preparation and presentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering; Master's or PhD degree preferred
  • PE license
  • Advanced knowledge of water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure hydraulics, operation, and master planning
  • Understanding of demand and flow projections and ability to perform forecasting with consideration to upcoming mandates
  • Integrated climate change impacts into planning approaches
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
  • 5 to 10 years of directly-related experience in hydraulic modeling and planning, with progressively increasing responsibility

  • Competitive salary range: $117,000 - $160,000
