Job Overview

PCG INTERNATIONAL INC is in search of a proficient and seasoned Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics Specialist. Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Employ your expertise in Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics to scrutinize large and intricate datasets, uncover trends, patterns, and correlations, and derive valuable insights that align with business objectives.
  • Report Development: Create and design reports, dashboards, and visualizations utilizing Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics tools to present data clearly and attractively. Work closely with stakeholders to comprehend their reporting needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Data Modeling and Transformation: Construct and execute data models and transformations using Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics tools to guarantee accurate and consistent data representation. Implement data management best practices to enhance data quality and integrity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance of Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics solutions, offering timely troubleshooting and issue resolution. Identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements to boost system performance and reliability.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, healthcare professionals, and IT specialists, to gather requirements, understand business needs, and effectively communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and assistance to end-users on Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics tools and functionalities. Aid in developing training materials and conducting workshops to foster user adoption and proficiency.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, advancements in Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics, and best practices in healthcare analytics. Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills to maintain your status as a subject matter expert in the field.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience with Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics tools, including but not limited to Discern Explorer, Discern Expert, and Discern Visual Developer.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation languages for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and conducting complex data analysis using Cerner Millennium Discern Analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data, terminologies, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and data integration concepts.
  • Experience in report development and data visualization using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Cognos.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities.
