Job Title: Accounting Manager

As a key member of the plant management team, the Accounting Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial integrity of all activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, managing budgets, and analyzing financial data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage and analyze financial data, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory control
  • Supervise and train accounting staff, including the accounting clerk
  • Interact with corporate and plant management to gather data and communicate plant needs
  • Manage warehouse, shipping, and inventory control, including reporting and cycle count activities
  • Review and enter PAR's (Project Appropriation Request) into Task Manager software
  • Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, Access, and Word
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Management experience preferred
